The winner of the calendar photo competition will win a two night break and the other 11 runners up will receive a bottle of bubbly on their next stay. We have just launched our 2015 Snap It Up competition. The winning image was selected from over 140 photographs by judges Jane Black and Peter Rees from the Royal Photographic Society ad it now takes pride of place as the cover shot for the calendar. The calendar competition raised a lot of interest with our guests and we received so many fantastic images, it was difficult to pick the best one. Guests of the Borrowdale Hotel were requested to send in images from their recent stay at the hotel, with the images showing the hotel or surrounding area. Costs are always increasing and we wouldn’t survive without these efforts, so many thanks to Lake District Hotels” Mick said: We are always very grateful to receive these donations and they all count.
